Classes

At Broomhill Infant school we have four classes which we call Bases. We have up to 30 children in each class.

• Red Base is a foundation Stage Two class. (4-5 years)
• Yellow Base is a mixed class of FS2 and Year One pupils (5-6 years)
• Green Base is a mixed class of Y1 and Y2 pupils (5-7 years)
• Blue Base is a Y2 class (6-7 years)

All our Bases have a full time equivalent qualified teacher and a full time L3 teaching assistant. Some classes have an additional teaching assistant to support pupils with statements of special educational needs.

We welcome and support student placements, volunteer and parent helpers. All our volunteers undergo a full CRB check before working with our children.
